My path is guided by the balance between technique and sensibility. I believe in democratizing repertoire through communication — that's why I use YouTube to translate themes around art, design and architecture into accessible conversations.
This practice feeds on varied experiences that have built my ability to articulate across contexts: from the architecture drafting table to the watercolor sketchbook; from curating a color to curating a library.
In parallel, the Folhas de Sofia atelier is the place where I exercise sensibility and attentive looking. It's in mixing colors and experimentation that I mature the aesthetic repertoire I apply to each project.
Every project starts with a long conversation. I want to understand the bookshelf, the childhood photographs, the relationship with color — so the home ends up looking like the people who live there, not like the one who drew it.
